Dr. Lorna Deveau, BscK, D.C.

Lorna DeveauDr. Lorna Deveau is a 2006 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate. Prior to her doctorate in Chiropractic, she attained a Bachelor of Science with a major in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University.  She completed her studies with an internship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Since graduating in February of 2006 she has returned home to Nova Scotia to serve the community and promote her passion for health, wellness, and willingness to help others achieve optimal health. Lorna is the proud owner of Peak Energy which will celebrate its 10th successful year of helping clients in November 2016.

Arlene Tait, Registered Massage Therapist

Arlene Tait brings her goals of optimal functioning and mobility, and her positive perspective to provide treatments to her clients that will benefit health, well-being, balance and performance. Her diverse clinical experience in the health care field, along with her extensive post-grad training (Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lymphatic Techniques, Visceral Manipulation, Trager work, Rehabilitative technique/structural integration work with Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Therapy) helps her to effectively address athletic, therapeutic and relaxation goals.

Lisa Dykeman, BscK, PT

Lisa DykemanLisa Dykeman graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2004 and completed a Bachelor of Science of Physiotherapy in 2007 at Dalhousie University.

Lisa takes pride in providing her clients with individualized, hands-on physiotherapy treatments with a goal of restoring function and reaching their full potential. She uses unique treatment techniques that have been highly researched to help her facilitate healing with her clients. Lisa is also a certified Urban Poling (aka: Nordic Walking) Instructor. She offers one-on-one consultation, assessments and lessons. Other treatments provided include: acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, bracing, exercise prescription and muscle imbalance correction.

Dr. Melanie Stanley, BscK, D.C

Melanie StanleyDr. Melanie Stanley graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2011. She then went on to pursue her career as a Chiropractor attending Palmer College of Chiropractic located in Davenport Iowa and graduated in 2016. Melanie completed her internship here at Peak Energy Chiropractic and began practicing at the clinic post-graduation.

Melanie is originally from the small village of Havre Boucher, Nova Scotia and decided to move home after graduation to promote health and wellness in her home province. She believes in mobilization of the spine to allow for optimal function of the nervous system.

Katerina Miller, BSc Psych, MSc PT

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Katerina MillerKaterina Miller graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor degree in Psychology in 2012 and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy in 2014. Immediately after graduation, Katerina trained in pelvic health physiotherapy and has been growing in that field ever since. She joined the wonderful team at Peak Energy as a pelvic health physiotherapist to treat urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, pain during intercourse, preparation for birth, pre and post natal pelvic floor function, return to activity, the athlete’s pelvic floor, and childhood encopresis. To provide the best treatment, she uses multiple approaches for assessment and treatment, including internal and external assessments, biofeedback, education, piston science, acupuncture, and cooperating with other health professionals to achieve your goals.

Katerina is passionate about helping her clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Sarah Boehner, Registered Massage Therapist

Sarah BoehnerSarah Boehner graduated from ICT Northumberland College with a diploma in massage therapy. Sarah received honours and the school’s award for outstanding contribution to the school community. Prior to massage therapy, Sarah graduated from NSCC with a business and finance diploma.

Sarah has always had a passion for helping others and believes in the body’s ability to heal itself. She was introduced to massage therapy when recovering from a car accident and is now eager to practice and give others the experience she once had. She uses a collaborative approach by listening to the body and communicating with each client to meet specific goals. Sarah is committed to continue learning and growing in the massage therapy profession.
